Our Centre in Essendon is committed to providing our families with high quality care and meals for a diverse range of nutritional requirements.

We are currently looking for a Cook | Nutritionist to prepare the daily morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and late snack for the children who attend our centre in Essendon.

Some specific duties include:
- Implementing seasonal weekly menus
- Knowledge of nutritious cold and hot meals in line with dietary requirements and food standards.
- Organise orders for buying bulk food, as well as weekly shopping for fresh food.
- Oversee food safety plan and associated documentation.
- Responsibility for maintaining and ordering kitchen supplies.
- Demonstrated ability of working with budgets.

Knowledge of children’s meals, a Certificate in Food Handling and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate is essential as well as a Working with Children Check.
